John Hager

Meet John Hager, the quick-witted and spontaneous educator who brings the art of improvisation to life both inside and outside the classroom. With a passion for comedy and a knack for thinking on their feet, John loves being a part of the Hotspurs to bring laughter and creativity to every performance. He sees them not just as fellow performers, but as a tight-knit family. Offstage, John embraces his inner goofball, finding joy in the simplest of things and spreading laughter wherever he goes. With his commitment to the craft, strong character decisions, and boundless creativity, John is a force to be reckoned with both on and off the stage.

Double Life.

By day, “Mr. Hager” can be found enlightening young minds as a dedicated teacher, shaping the future through the power of education. By night, it’s John Baybee, who loves to transform the ordinary into the extraordinary through the magic of improvisation.

Natural talent.

Whether it's a first-person shooter or a complex role-playing game, John navigates virtual worlds with the finesse of a seasoned veteran, earning him the respect and admiration of all of his students, and none of his parents.

Routine.

John washes his hair at least 3 times a day and only uses shampoo comprised with oils from the endangered Dragon’s Blood Tree. John also makes sure to always include iced tea in his performing contract, as he always says “Life is like a refreshing glass of iced tea. Sometimes, it's sweet and invigorating, while other times it may be bitter or challenging”.
