Sean O’Malley

The Hotspurs! resident Dungeon Master, impeccable speller, and avoider of vegetables is none other than Sean O’Malley. When he isn’t messing around with the other Hotspurs or participating in one of his hobbies, he spends time teaching science to America’s youth. Sean has been a fan of comedy from a young age and considers himself extremely lucky to be working alongside the other Hotspurs and to bring laughs to their audience. Sean’s exceptional comedic timing, boisterous persona, and passion for improv make him a strong component of the team, and helped him secure tenure so he can’t be fired.

Multidimensional.

Sean enjoys filling his time by reading, participating in trivia with friends, spouting random animal facts, playing video games, being Dungeon Master for The Hotspurs!, boxing, hunting for ghosts, solving mysteries, extreme ironing, and acanthochronology.

Humble beginnings.

Sean originally got his start in comedy by making inappropriate jokes in high school, which then garnered laughs from his teachers and classmates alike. After this, he dabbled in stand-up comedy in college, winning a cash prize and sending someone away from the venue crying. In fact, he only met the other Hotspurs by chance, accidentally joining an improv club.

Sean’s personal philosophy has been “anything can be funny, you just need the right joke”. He claims this has served him well in life, and has only led to 2 divorces, 5 estranged family members, 8 missing children, and 1 warrant for arrest.
